Meet Dr. Lyra

During medical school and residency, she was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society and is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
She has been in her current solo practice since 2000 and has privileges at Memorial Regional Hospital.
She was born in Athens, Greece and migrated to the United States at the age of 14. She attended the University of Miami where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, and subsequently attended the University of Miami Medical School. She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1993 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, and has been in private practice since then.
She has been a solo practitioner since 2000 and has provided both Obstetrics and Gynecology services. Going forward she is planning to dedicate more of her time to the practice of Gynecology and Women’s Health, with emphasis in treatment of perimenopause and menopause.
